Is every piece really one of a kind?
Yes- truly. Every cabochon is hand-poured from the runoff of my fluid acrylic paintings, which means no two are ever exactly alike. Once a piece sells, it's gone for good. Some pieces are inspired by the colors of the painting and some are inspired by the finish piece and choosing colors, all created with intention and motivated by moments you want to remember, life's lessons, and the chaos that shapes us.
What are your pieces made from?
Each piece pairs with genuine gemstones and hand-poured acrylic glass cabochons, wire wrapped in either copper, jewelers bronze, stainless steel and a select few with coated tanish resistant wire. The cabochons start as glass and are dipped into the leftover paint from the pour paintings. Every color story is one-of-a-kind and tied directly to a piece of orginal art.
Are your pieces hypoallergenic?
I use bare copper, bare jewelers bronze, 304 stainless steel, and occasionally tarnish resistant coated wire for most of my product. If you have any allergies to these metals unfortunatly my creations might not be best suited for you. For all earring hooks they are either stainless steel PVD coated wire or for copper hooks is is copper coated tarnish resistant wire. If you have concerns you can always reach out and I will share the exact materials I use.
How do I care for my jewelry?
Copper and Jewelers gold are alive in their own way. They will shift and patina overtime, which is part of their character; not a flaw.

What is a patina?
Patina is a natural color shift that happens as copper and other metals react with air, moisture, and skin oils over time. Darkening and developing warm brown or greenish tones. This develops character and your story to the grooves of the piece. It's not tarnish or damage; it's metal aging the way wood or leather does. It's part of what makes a piece feel truly yours the longer you wear it. If you prefer a "new" look you can follow care instructions with common house hold products to touch up your piece, but many people let it develop and love the depth it adds.
Will my jewelry turn my skin green?
Sometimes, yes. This is a natural reaction between copper/bronze and skin oils/ph. Not a sign of poor quality. It's harmless and washes off easily with soap and water. If the metal becomes dull after wear- gently clean with warm soapy water, dry completely and buff with polishing cloth.
Do you take custom orders?
I have not taken custom orders yet, but if you have any requests or questions feel free to reach out! This is something I may do more of in the future.
If your pieces are one of a kind, how can you restock?
Great question! Yes all pieces are still one of a kind, but as I see what everyone is looking for I will do my best to restock in the same color way of the original piece. Meaning The same color paints slightly different design and the same gemstones even though natural gemstones are slightly different- this is the beauty of mother nature. While supplies last if popular I will try to restock what I can, but there will be limited restocks on any piece.
What size are your bracelets?
All bracelets are adjustable and fit a 6" wrist to a 8" wrist. If you need something bigger or smaller please reach out and we can adjust to your needs.
How long does it take to make and ship my order?
Each piece is already made and ready to go in small batches. Every piece is unique and one of a kind and unreplicable to match exactly. I only ship on Monday-Friday, please allow up to two days after your order is placed to be shipped. Once shipped delivery will take up to 3-5 business days within the U.S. I do not ship internationally at this time.
What is your return/exchange policy?
All sales are final. Since every piece is one of a kind, hand poured, hand wrapped, and never repeated- I'm not able to offer returns or exchanges. If something arrives damaged see below and I'll make it right.
Can I see pieces in person before buying?
Yes! I regularly sell at markets in the Austin area. Follow me on instagram @the.abstract.alchemist for upcoming dates and locations.
My piece arrived damaged- what can I do?
Things can happen and I strive for great customer service. If your piece is damaged please reach out within 2 weeks of delivery with a photo of the damaged piece and your order number, and I will take care of you.
Do you accept wholesale inquires?

A few basics:
- Keep pieces dry and remove before swimming, showering, or heavy sweating.
- Store in a dry place away from direct sunlight. Each piece is beautifully packaged with a cleaning cloth and storage pouch. The less the product is left to open air the less your piece will tarnish.
- Gently polish with a polishing cloth to restore shine.
- Copper and Jewelers bronze pieces may darken and develop a patina over time. This is natural and can be gently cleaned or left to age. With all of these methods the most important part is drying the piece bone dry. Water will continue to tarnish the piece. For regular cleaning use warm soapy water and polish with the provided polishing cloth. If you feel the need to restore your piece to shiny again you can spot treat with the following house hold items. Use a q-tip and stay away from the gemstones as much as possible as this can cause damage over time.
- Lemon juice and salt- Best for light tarnishing and gentle cleaning. Use a fresh lemon and sprinkle some salt on it. Gently rub all over the metal and rinse clean. Dry completely and buff with polishing cloth.
- Vinegar and salt- Best for removing heavy tarnish without elbow grease. Combine 1 cup of vinegar and 1 tablespoon of salt. Rub onto metal and let sit for for 10-15 minutes. Rinse with warm soapy water and dry completely. Buff with polishing cloth
- Ketchup- Gross! I know, but it works like a charm and you probably already have this in your fridge. Depending on the tarnish depends on how long you leave it on. A quick polish by rubbing for 30 seconds to a minute or letting it sit to remove heavier tarnish. Rinse with warm soapy water and completely dry. Buff with polishing cloth.
- You can always purchase a pretreated polishing cloth like a sunshine cloth easily online as well.
